Oxygen course is thought for rescue personnel and professionals who operate in aquatic environment, who need to learn and to recognize the necessity of administration of oxygen. Its aim is to give information about the correct way of oxygen administration during a first assistance.
Oxygen was once legally treated like a simple medicine, that can be prescribed by a doctor in a certain quantity. Since 2012 the Italian law recognized the possibility of oxygen administration to NON sanitary staff in case of emergency, without any legal shortcoming for the supplier.
It is well-known how important time can be, when it comes to an aquatic emergency, therefore the change of law in matter of oxygen administration has a huge impact on society and good consequences on quick rescue held by professionals of other occupation than sanitary.
This course is therefore important for personnel such as guides, rescuers, lifeguards, etc.
The course will explain the responsibilities, the breathing system and the correct use of equipment.
What will be acquired:
- Oxygen administration license

- It is possible to integrate the course BLS-D and PHTC
- It is possible to integrate various programs of river rescue or safety on workplace
