The Disaster Management Operator Course is aimed to all professionals who manage alert teams, intervene in situations of emergency and are responsible of decisional and managerial processes during the intervention.
This formation program enhances the disaster management aspects regarding flood contexts, where specific evaluation skills are required.
For example, it is essential to acquire the skill of understanding in advance when and where a river may overflow, advertising local teams about the danger and keeping the context under constant investigation, with particular attention to its rapid changes and new risks.
The course is also helpful for drivers and rescue teams, in order to map the zones and places of intervention.
This course helps binding headquarters with intervention teams on territory, with the help of personnel who can work on prevention when necessary.
What will be released:
- Swimming skills certificate
- Information and formation of emergency management, with disaster management certificate
- Correct use of PPE in accordance with Italian applicable law D.Lgs 81/08
NOTES
- It is possible to rent PPE for the course ( neoprene 5mm wetsuit, homologated helmet and lashing )
- It is possible to organize and integrate BLS-D Course (Basic Life Support - defibrillator)
